Gait Development / analysis

Gait recovery is a very important aim in the rehabilitation for stroke clients. Helping to restore functions and normalise the actions and movements that were once taken for granted pre stroke.

Gait impairment can be a result of the damage caused to the brain after trauma. It can develop into muscle weakness, spasticity, abnormal synergistic activation/coordination.

Through examination and exercise progression the goals of people who have suffered a stroke can be adjusted to aid individuals walking mobility and assist in some benefits for daily activities.
